Every Spring,

as the days stretch longer and the air fills with the promise of summer, our community comes together for something special—Wildflower Music Festival. Held each May in Chico, California, this all-day celebration of music, connection, and joy welcomes families, music lovers, and friends of all ages to dance, laugh, and create lasting memories.

Wildflower isn’t just a festival—it’s a tradition. It’s the sound of guitars ringing through the trees, the sight of kids twirling in the grass, the taste of local food shared among neighbors, and the unmistakable feeling that we’re all part of something bigger. Whether you’re here to see your favorite band, discover new music, or simply soak in the energy of the day, you belong here.

Music That Brings Us Together

Wildflower Music Festival curates a lineup that speaks to the heart—artists whose music moves, inspires, and brings people closer. Each year, we feature an incredible mix of performers, from rising local talent to renowned touring acts, all creating the kind of atmosphere that turns strangers into friends.

Beyond the stage, there’s plenty to explore. Kids can enjoy a free activity area filled with face painting, jump houses, and creative play. Local vendors offer handcrafted goods, delicious eats, and refreshing drinks—including cold Sierra Nevada brews and local LaRocca wines to sip as you take in the music. Plus, our silent auction and 50/50 raffle add a little extra excitement to the day.

A Festival with a Purpose

While Wildflower Music Festival is about the music and the experience, it’s also about something deeper: community. Every ticket sold helps support Wildflower Open Classroom, a local K-8 charter school dedicated to hands-on learning, creativity, and the kind of education that shapes lifelong learners. By simply showing up, you’re making a difference—helping to nurture the next generation of thinkers, makers, and dreamers.
